The Studytech SMILE Server stands less than 3cm tall, yet we’ve managed to fit two powerful servers into this one tiny box.
The Windows 2016 Server, which is the heart of the SMILE system, provides all the network services you need to let you build a network throughout your school. These are the tools your computers need to talk to each other and the server.
It includes Active Directory, which stores usernames, passwords and security settings for every user in the school.
And it provides storage, so that every file for every user on every computer is stored in one safe place, which can easily be backed up and protected. Everything that’s important to you and your school is stored on this server.
The Multipoint Server works with the SMILE Smart Terminals to give your users access to the Windows 10 desktop and installed programs.
Together, these servers give your users all the benefits of the Studytech Managed Operating Environment, designed to build their ICT confidence and skills.
